Well basically my net hasn't been as fast as it should be. My ISP has us hardwired shitty anyways but lately its been getting slower and the last few days its taken a nosedive... I'd like to thing its my Ethernet Switch or the modem or whatnot but I've tried a few things and got nothing... so heres my HiJackThis report for any1 to look at to see if theres some obvious problems... Let me know.

Some reasons for a slow computer are:
*Too many programs and processes runnning
* Malicious processes running
* Inadequate RAM * Hard drive errors, capacity, or fragmentation issues
* Inadequate processor speed
* Other hardware issues
Do a little research, Google -> Slow computer
If it?s just your Browser that?s slow call your ISP, they can check out your line?
There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn by reading; The few who learn by observation;
The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves...
* Too many programs and processes runnning: 48 processes, a little much but many of them from MSI motherboard and other hardware...
* Malicious processes running: Full system scans multiple times... nothing.
* Inadequate RAM: 4GB (3.2GB recognized) 677mhz DDR2 Ram * Hard drive errors, capacity, or fragmentation issues: Hardrive is brand new, formatted once and working great, 98% performance rating and 94% Fitness (speedfan)
* Inadequate processor speed: Dual core AMD 5000+ Black Edition
* Other hardware issues: Can't find any...
Programs run fine... games have great connections, torrents fast, speedtests say I'm 14-15MB/s but browsing with FireFox, Chrome, IE is slow... dunno why its mainly my browsing...

Thanks for the speedy reply tho, was worth a shot :)
I'm thinking I'm going to have to call my ISP in on this... I'm in a house turned into 2 apartment style units and when I was in the basement I noticed theres one cable connection to the house then it goes to a splitter (2 ways, 1 upstairs and 1 to my downstairs unit) and then my end is on another splitter (5 ways!!!) and then the cable runs like 40 feet to where my modem is... Theres no way those splitters and long wire are holding a solid stream of data... when I use in-depth bandwidth testers it tells me my speeds are higher 10+mb/s but my connection stability is so erratic... many spikes and nosedives... But its odd that its never really been this bad... lately its gotten to dial-up style speeds...
Possibly the guys upstairs are using bandwidth heavy apps, P2P's and torrents when my conn nosedives...
Oh well thanks for the help. If my HJT logfile is clean I'm 90% sure its my hardwired connection.
