Will the new Wiikey firmware update work with the original Wiikey?

I see there's a new Wiikey chip but what about the update for the old one I try many links around this forum but can't seem to find it. so I went directly to wiikey site and the only update they have is the 1.9s.

The wiikey 2 is an entirely different modchip than the original one. It just has the same name because it's from the same team.

The wiikey and wiikey 2 use different firmwares.

That said though, you're wrong that 1.9s is for the wiikey 2. 1.9s is the most recent (and probably final) firmware for the first wiikey.

Can you provide me a link for the already padded iso on the update?
I would highly apreciate that.

Actually I found it. I was able to download and burn it.
My wii was able to read disk but it gave me a

error: test failed
check your connections and try again.

I'm searching threads around but if you have any idea please let me know.

Are you sure you have a wiikey? A real wiikey? There are a good number of clones still floating around. The clones were not compatible with wiikey firmware 1.9g or s.

I thought I did.
I had a guy mod my Wii but don't know what chip he used.
That guy is long gone and how the world I can find out what chip I have...

???
