Pioneer AO6 and DVD-R

These DVD's drive me crazy. My daughters' dvd player will only play DVD-R, I have been using the Memorex and they were fine, now all of a sudden, the same package, I can't get one to burn. Keep getting a burn error with my Pioneer AO6--I haven't done anything new--have the latest updates. I did go get some TDK'S and so far so good. Why would this happen all of a sudden, I've already coastered about 6 of them. Pioneer said that they recommend TDK, MAXELL, AND VERBATIM, but it was burning the Memorex. Do they have that many bad ones in a case, or is it my burner? I'm fairly new at this, and hate throwing money away. tks, dmarie

Memorex is well known by many for producing less than great quality products. You will be much better off with TDK, Maxell, Fuji than Memorex.

I have Pioneer 106 also. I use RITEK DVD-R , I have burned many DVD and works fine.
Go to www.meritline.com they have good prices on RITEK
