I'm no noob to this iso scene but this one has me stumped.
I bought a cake of 50 Verbatim DVD+Rs from my local PC World, the brand I have always used and decided to burn some iso's off.
Thing is I started to get disk read errors up on most games during play, something that seemed to subside by burning at x1 instead of the usual x2.
But Sonic Unleashed won't play ball, every time, at the same cutscene, regardless of burn speed, I get the same error.
I have a feeling it is the media at fault, although it is the same brand as I've always used, although I have heard that depending on where it was manufactured the quality may vary.
Could I be burning at the wrong speed, does buring slowly have its problems?
Could it be a bad batch of media and I should just go and buy some more?
Could I be having drive problems? Although my other backups work just fine.
Should I be using DVD-Rs instead of DVD+Rs?

Any help will be gratefully received.
I think the iso you have of sonic is a bad rip, if it freezes at the same point everytime its probably corrupted or sumptin, re rip it or from another copy
Thanks for that, will try a different iso and see how that pans out.
I have, however, noticed problems with a number of other isos burned on my current pack of Verbatim DVD+Rs, CODWaW and Skate It both had issues with freezing, until I burned them at a different speed.
I have a feeling its the media, I think it's a bad batch, or they have lowered the quality control on the whole manufacturing process
