COD: WAW Kill Stealing

Has anyone else noticed that your kills tend to get stolen more on COD: WAW. Seems like every time I put a guy into last stand, some n00b will run by and shoot him once and get the kill. What do I get? A measly 8 points that's probably not going to help level me up at all. I think Treyarch should make it where whoever shoots the guy the most and puts him into last stand, should get the kill. I understand that my kills will get stolen sometimes, but getting 15 assists in one game is too much. Now it happened to me alot in COD:MW too, but it has increased about 200% in this game.

I agree with you. It's the same on the LIVE version. I've shot guys on Last Stand and got the entire 10pts, and it was someone else who put them down. And vice-versa.
There's still a few issues which need patched, and hopefully Treyarch will address them a lot quicker than IW did.
Guys are still getting under the map in Castle, the kill stealing, and of course the terrible spawning.

Last stand sucks imo, as well as "drop a grenade when you die". Both should be removed.

Ahh... you guys are busted.
It's easy to pick out the players who like to run around the maps like a bat out of hell, guns blazing away. They almost always get caught by those 2 perks.
I know, I use to play that way :) Not anymore, though. I learned my lesson.
I do wish they'd add a "Mantle" perk, like in CoD3. Being able to climb on top of an enemy tank and drop a grenade in would be nice.

I've only been playing WAW for a few days now, but haven't had too many issues with kill stealing...what is really annoying me (alot) though is the bouncing betty's, they're a lot harder to see than the claymore's were on Modern Warfare.

World at war was traded in today at CEX for £33.... considering i bought it at asda for 27 on launch day. I've gone back to Modern warfare, far superior online in my opinion.
60gb launch PS3.....50" Sony Bravia.....LG 5.1 surround..... gaming heaven.

Meh, I just played a game this afternoon on COD4 and got 21 assists coupled with 5 kills and 11 deaths! Though I'll agree that it gets frustrating after getting more than 10 un-needed assists. I especially hate it when playing a team game like S&D, being grouped with five other clan members that just annihilate the opposing team. It leaves nothing for you :P
At least this game doesn't have a dreaded "Vote to kick" feature....
