DMS Wii with WiiKey2 not working on some games

I have a DMS Wii, installed with a WiiKey2 with a Wii-Clip. On some backups the disc cannot read and on others it reads just fine. It's not the media because it's the same media for the working and not working games. It has the 1.2 fw on the wiikey. I cut off the D,E,F,G points using some electrical tape. Mario Galaxy and animal crossing is two of the games doesn't read.

Anyone got any ideas on why some games won't read?
