i have soldered the 6 wires to the board but looking at this http://www.freewebs.com/jtagg/ theres a 3.3v power source (VCC) where does that power source come from?

Hi If you have a mutimeter? the 3v3 comes from a diode to the right of the CPU just check for 3v3 its on the cathode end which is marked with a white band

i know where the wire goes for on the board but where from the board does it go to it just shows on this pic where the wire goes on the board but i dont knwo where it goes from there

If you are using an active Jtag there should be a red wire on the lead. If it is a passive type(resistors only-non buffered) no Vcc is required.
