Hey guys, I took my ps2 slim apart to adjust the pots and all that went well. I reinstalled it and it's like theres no power on the laser or motor now? Is there a diagram that shows witch fuse controls this stuff? I'm not real sure it's blown a fuse, but it has no power whats so ever on any of the laser wires. Can anyone point me in the right direction? THanks guys.

Eric

Does the laser move along the snake drive motor when the ps2 is turned on, also are you sure you firmly pushed in the ribbon cables back into the motherboard connectors?

No, it doesn't move at all. I'm sure all the cables are connected firmly also. Do you know where I can get a break down of all the fuses and such for the mother board? When I press the power button, the CPU fan spins up, but no movement at all on the laser assemmbly.? A brake down of the parts/fuses on the motherboard would be a great help? I've taken a DVOM and pu the negitive on a good ground and hit most all the terminals with the + and I can't see any voltage anywhere on the laser if that helps? Thanks for taking the time to replay!

Eric

I meant to list the model.

I think you should check all the fuses on the motherboard, this diagram isnt exactly for your motherboard, its for the v12, but it should give you a rough idea of where the fuses are, check them all for continuity.
