Ok, i did some research and there apperently is a high chance that my 360 is gonna get an rrod (or at least has a good chance compared to the more recent ones). I has the zephyr thing (dunno what it is exactly, but it has it). Ok, so i'm gonna get it modded but i'm takin the sticker off using a blow dryer (yes, that works). Anyways, all of this is beside the point, pretend there was no mod ever done to it, where would be the best place to take it if it gets the rrod, i bought this 360 second hand so i dun have the receipt nor do i know where it was gotten. I suspect Costco will be the best for this but give me some advice.

You can mail it to me if it gives you the 3 rings. I can fix by replacing the xclamps. For a bit more I will remove the chips and reball them plus replace the xclamps.

the problem with the xclamp replacement is that it is only temporary. The reason that i wanna send it out if i get the rrod is that they will most likely send me a new one, one that won't have any chance of getting the rrod. Thx but i would like a more permanent solution.

if you did your homework, then you would know that the best thing you can do is get reflowed/reballed, and an x-clamp fix. the next best thing is a new xbox. and i did mine 2 years ago, and it still runs brand new, its three years old now total.

i did do my homework, many people who have gotten the xclamps fix have had their xbox go rrod a few months later, although it is a good fix, it's not as good as getting a new xbox. The new models do not have any chance of gettin rrod.

ok, that actually looks good, unless my xbox rroded for some stupid reason that no one has ever heard of (basically, something has nothing to do with overheating) then this should work. Thx.
