i am a dvdflick user and i recently bought a pack of 8x taiyo yuden dvds. i have a 16x dvd burner. dvdflick has worked fine in the past with other, lower quality dvds. with the taiyo yuden im getting a error (along with 20 retries) saying theres a power calibration error or something like that, i will post the log soon. is this because of the 8x dvds and 16x dvd burner? if so, is there a way around this?

Hi,
Try using Imgburn as your burning engine. It is updated (and free too)

Just because you have good quality media, it doesn't mean that any burner will just like it. You need to have the proper firmware.
Have you done any firmware updates?
