hey if anybody can help me with this problem that would be great!

So I just got Guitar Hero World Tour on PS2 for christmas, and I get the "playstation 2" flash and then it does the red loading bar and then when it gets to the end of the loading bar it just stops. I can't get any further into the game. Now I know it's not the PS2 because I put Guitar Hero 3 into it and everything loads fine. But this World Tour game is brand new and right out of the box and it's not loading!! It's really frustrating and if anybody has any idea on what to do please let me know! Thanx
