help. Completely removing linux from ps3?

i installed ydl on my ps3, but since i didnt like it i wanted to remove it. I have a 80gb ps3 and I alloted 70 for other-os and 10 for game-os.

I tried formatting the ps3, not the fast formatting, it's the one that takes 4 hours or so. When i checked the hdd. I only had 64gb or so free

Not to mention i can still run linux, but i get stuck on kboot.

Is there a way to completely remove the linux partiton and get my full capacity back?
