I'm planning to get xbox live through a friend of mine who works at EB games since he can get a 15% discount, anyways, i was wondering if i would even use it. I'm thinkin and halo 3 is pretty much the only game i would use it for, and i'm not sure if i would play it all that much. What do you guys think, how often do u go on xbox live?

It is very much worth it.

The price is very fair too.

50 bucks a year.

I use it everyday.

If not for games I use it for demos, movies, and chatting with friends.

Every console comes with 3 - 1 month for free Gold trials. MS just doesn't make it all that obvious.

All you do is sign up for a Silver account. It'll ask you if you rather buy Gold, just select no. It'll ask you again if you're sure you don't want to buy Gold. Again, select no. Then it'll tell you that your qualitified for a free month of Gold.

So, give it a shot for a month and decide if it's worth it.
