Backup Wii Games without LG drive?

Is it possible to backup Wii games without having one of the LG drives (LG-8164b, LG-8163b, LG-8162b or LG-8161b) which I read about in this guide:http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/471073

I have heard of ways to back to Wii games using a Wifi network to your pc and by using a SD card, has anyone here tried this?

do a search, seriously.

the network method has been explained in other threads. look.

as 4 drive method those GDR-8164 -> GDR-8161 drive are the only ones (there is also a sata drive)

you could try other drive with the GDR prefix, but dont complain if they dont work, they may or may not.
