Ok, I went ahead and tried installing Linux on my ps3 and it was stupid and wouldn't work telling me something about couldn't find some kind of file like a fs or fg something. Anyway, I was sick of it being lame and so I went to restore my ps3. I reformated to give all my space to my ps3 and went to recovery.

I backed everything up to a 320gb external hdd and it all wnet well on backup. But when I try and restore, it goes all the way through the restore process, actually shows 100% restore and then tells me it can't finish and that it has to restart and reformat. It does this every time I try and restore.

I don't care about losing anything really except I spend hours and hours and hours on a little big planet level and i'm not done with it so I haven't published it so I believe it is in my saved data in my restored info.

Anyone else have it restore to 100% only to have it tell you it can't continue and just end up reformatting?

I've about lost it.
