This fix worked for me but I don't know if it will work for others. I had 3 red lights and I fixed my xbox with Xclamp and after that it worked fine for few months and then I got error E74 one red light error. And I re did the Xclamp mod again and heated the CPU then again error E74 code. I almost gave up. Then I red on internet that E74 code error is caused by bad AV output chip that is labeled as ADA, what I did is I aplied pressure to the chip with blunt object then I used 1500 watt heat gun and aplied heat to it for one minute, then I kept pressure on it untill it cooled down. And after that my Xbox360 works again, This chip gets hot too and does not have any heat sink, So I installed one of those mini heat sinks with sticker.
After this, I will finish playing all the games that I got and then sell this and move onto PS3, am done with xbox360.
Thanks guys!

I feel that you just made the stupidest comment ever. E-74 and all red ring issues are fixed free of charge by microsoft, so how are they making any money on it? They aren't they are losing money on every single console they have to repair.

i'm not sure if you know, but they charge a 100$ fix these problems. After six months or so it goes bad again, i've sent in and "fixed" my 360 a total of four times, do the math. No warranty= paying from your pocket!

The reason why you haven't heard of that is because in these forums you cannot make negative comments about the 360's. If you do so, you'll get people jumping on the boards saying that your claims is the most stupid comment ever, and how you'll get banned and yada yada yada.
Just so you know, I bought a new Xbox360 from Best Buy a month ago. Supposedly it has the new falcon chipset according to the geeksquad guy...well it red lighted 3 weeks after purchase. Best Buy wanted to replace the console...I kindly denied their offer and instead demanded a refund. Evidently the issues still persist and even though 360 has a nice game depth library, these rather unexpected red lights is a tip off to anticipate future problems. So yeah, I just took my money back and take my business elsewhere...maybe I'll have better luck.

The Jasper is the newest mobo in the 360. So, you bought their "other" attempt at fixing it, not their latest attempt.
And yes, the Falcons are well known for failing as well.
