Hey,

I'm trying to flash my hitachi 59 but I can't get it into modeB, its says: "Port is slow to respond, please be patient" then it retrys every 5 seconds but fails every time.
I have the slax 2.1 edition, my onboard SATA is VIA.

Can anybody help me on getting it to mode B with slax or with the modeB from windows method.

I would say go out and get a pci via sata card, I had trouble with my on board sata chipset
