Wii Replacement DVD Drive

I think my Wii DVD drive is to be dieing. It started sounding like shit a month or two ago and now I get the occasional "An Error has occured, Press the Eject Button and remove the disc." The thing is way out of warranty, I bought it off Craigslist a year ago, so sending it back is out of the question. Is it the DVD drive? I took the thing apart and it seems to be the D2B model. Do I have to replace it with a D2B drive or will any do? Also, can anyone recommend a good place to get a replacement drive?

Its possible that the drive is dieing, or it could just sound terrible and keep working for years.

I do know someone who replaced a wii drive after a bad mod attempt. He bought from www.consolesource.com and replaced his DMS drive with a premodded D2B. Any chipset or region drive is interchangeable with any other one, so you dont have to worry about that.
