How do i get my PSP to work right?

my psp won't load any games from memory card, when i try to load a game is freezes up and wont power off i have to remove the battery to get it off. And if i try loading a umd game it just goes to a blank menu screen.

Could you list more info. like do you have CFW? What folder are you dropping your ISO's in? have you set your menu settings to the m33 driver? (by pushing select in the psp dashboard)
