So far I have found that these movies wont burn in AnyDVD, DVDfab, or Shrink.
Princess Diaries 2
Peter Pan 2
Open Season
101 Dalmations 1&2
Atlantis-Milo Returns

Anyone else have these problems? or did they work for you and in what programs?

Hi,

anydvd runs silently in the back ground and decrypts the dvd while clonedvd copies the dvd. So, just insert the dvd to be backed up into the dvd drive and activate clone dvd.

hope this helps,

Jo

OK new development:

Insert Disc, AnyDVD Scanned it. Setup CloneDVD2 so that it COPIES the files. I dont know if clone would have been a better option to use? As soon as selected all files on disc(Peter Pan 2) I hit go. It pops up with this:
File 1 E:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_11_1.VOB 30 TCSectorReader

It also says that it could be a dirty disc and to clean it and try again. Problem is, It is brand new out of packaging and right into my computer.

Any Ideas??

Hi, sometimes a new disc right out of the box is poorly made and cannot be backed up (the dreaded bad pressing). The remedy is to go back to the store and exchange the disc. Also, is a second drive is present on the pc, please try it, as one drive may not be able to read the disc, whereas another can.

Hope this helps :)

I just went to a friends and borrowed his copy, it is used and a few years old. Says still plays good and there are no scratches. Same problem though.

I did however Deselect EVERY option but the main movie and it did work. I need the special features as well though. Is there a way to find out exatly what title I should deselect to make it copy???

all it gives me is this:
File 1 E:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_11_1.VOB 30 TCSectorReader
Can i find the file by this?

You are saying that you do own this movie, and you cannot back it up. So as a test, you borrowed a friends identical copy just to see if your own copy is bad. Is this correct ?

I ask this as we at AD here cannot help you back up dvds that you do not personally (piracy).

Yes that is correct. I do own the movie and will be taking your advice to return for a new copy tomorrow. I used friend only as test and as said it does work either.

Any way you can borrow an extrenal drive and then retry, as your drive may not be able to read the disc.

I want ot features though, So how do i go about doing this?

And should I clone the files or Copy them?

I had no trouble backing up Open Season when it came out, and just happened to rip a fresh copy a few days ago with the latest dvdfab.

You may also want to clean the disk, as even tho it may look clean, there may be something that is not allowing it to rip. That is what happened to me with The Golden Compass. I cleaned it 28 times, and it took me to the 29th attempt to finally rip it completely. Some times persistence pays off.

The cleaning off part did work for open season. No matter how hard I try I can not get Princess Diaries 2 burned.

Thanxs for the advice and the program options I am slowly getting the feel for all this.

Try RIPIT4ME

It's What I Used For All Those Movies.
It Seems to work for Most Dizzy Movies.

You Must Have DvdShrink & DvdDecryptor Already Installed.

If you can, run anydvd and ripit4me together. My friend does this and backs up most movies easily.
