Hey people, long time lurker. I've tried searching for this problem but I couldn't find a thread that related to my battery type so here goes:

My Psp has been working fine for over a year now, but all of a sudden when I decided to format my memory card (which, again, I have done many times before with no problem), the psp stopped working.

It would turn on, the battery light shows green, and it flickers on the memory card light (red-ish), but the screen is black, stays black and that's it. it doesn't turn off or anything, it just stays black screen, green battery light on.

I tried doing a soft reset by holding the power tab for 10-13 seconds, I tried powering the PSP in recovery mode, but recovery mode doesn't work.

So now I'm trying to create a pandora battery (which i have done before with a friend's psp and it worked fine). The problem is that the battery for my specific psp is different than the two types of batteries i've seen. Here are pictures to show you my battery:

and

and finally

Notice how there's

a) some rubbery stuff overlaid on the circuits
b) in other pandora battery youtube videos, i usually see the pin that needs to be lifted on the right side of the chip in picture 2 but i dont see it in mine

Well I hope i've given you guys enough information.

Is it bricked? Can it be unbricked with my battery? if so, how?

Thanks in advance
