Ok, I've spent hours on Google trying to find the solution to this problem with no luck, maybe one of you guys can help me.

I recently acquired about 30 PSP motherboards. Some had physical damage that simply could not be fixed, some were simple bricks that were easily restored with a Pandora Battery and MMS. Then, there's some which my Pandora battery won't work on.

When I connect a battery to the mobo and insert the memory stick, the green light comes on as usual but turns off after about 20-30 seconds. The memory board LEDs do not flash as they usually do. My MMS requires a button to be pressed in order to load the DC8/DC7 (I have both on the card) installation menu. When I try booting with a Pandora battery while the DC7 or DC8 activation button is pressed, the light only stays on for about 2-3 seconds and the memory card lights still do not flash.

I thought at first the problem might be that the Wifi/memory board I was testing the mobos with was bad but since then I have tried 5 other ones. The physical part that connects the mobo to the wifi board shows no signs of damage on all of these motherboards so I don't think that's the problem. I know the memory stick and pandora battery are good as I've used them on at least 50 other systems (I tried a few different memory sticks just to be sure).

Any suggestions? Is there a fuse for the wifi board connector that can be blown just like the common backlight fuse problem?

Oh yeah and I should also mention these motherboards are all PSP Fat mobos and the model varies. Some are TA-79s, some are TA-81s, some are TA-86s.

Sounds like there's mobo damage. Something as simple as a bad capacitor could be causing the problem. Or 1 of many other possible problems.

either way i know of no known "pandora/fat psp" problems.

You know I give you the mad, phat, superfly, stupid-dope, dumb-ass, retarded, bomb-sh*t props!
What else do you want from me!?!

Dark_Alex...mad love and thanks for giving this community so much and asking for so little.
