Use winrar (shareware) or a free program to extract one rar in each folder to the video: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/248020 If not on Vista,WinRar version 3.51 is all you need: http://www.oldapps.com/winrar.htm and http://uneasysilence.com/archive/2006/08/7260/ Install Winrar, save the key to your desktop and right click the key and select open to register (all legal by the way). For joining your files, probably CD 1 and 2, lot's of tool's for that, try AviMux_Gui (free). Download Binary V 1.7.8 and add your two video's to the top window, highlight both by dragging your mouse over them and select generate data. In the lower window, highlight the audio and select start, save and name as you want and you'll have 1 file in a couple of minutes, fixes constant sync issues too even when the video is fine on the computer, (not gradual), check each first if burning to DVD and save and use that, the sync in ms show's to the right in the bottom window. If not 0, make and use the new one.

Put the two files (open the first and drag the second) in the top window of AviMux_Gui in the order you want. Now highlight them both by dragging your cursor over them. Select generate data and an audio and video item will appear in the lower window. Highlight audio and delay in ms will appear to the right. Select start and a window will open allowing you to name and place the new file as you wish. That's it and in a minute or two, you should have a new file.

You're more than likely missing codec's you need. VLC player has them incorporated if you wish to use it (excellent player) or the KazzaLite Full or Standard codec pack (you can choose what to install) (no connection to Kazza): http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/mirror.htm or this codec should play about 90-95% of files: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/xvid-codec.html
