Hi:

Lately the VOB files I created with Studio 11, although playable on PowerDVD with no problem, when try to open it with DVDShrink the following error message appears: "invalid dvd navigation overlapped i/o in progress". I've never had this problem before. In fact, DVDShrink has no problem opening some of the VOB files I created before. Any suggestions?

See if FixVTS can create a structure that DVD Shrink can use.

Thanks for the answer. I downloaded it and use it to "clean up" a small test-VOB file and it worked: no problem when open-file with DVDShrink.

But when I used on a real file which is only about 30 minutes long it took almost 45 minutes to clean. My toshiba lap top is 1.73ghz with 504mb RAM. not too ancient. now it becomes tedious. Why did Pinnacle Studio 11 suddenly has problem creating VOB files? I wish they could fix it.

See if this works faster with a copy of your test clip and if it loads in DVD Shrink.

Run IFOedit and click 'Open' (lower left).
Select VTS_01_0.IFO
After it loads click 'VOB Extras' and the steps in the pic.
Back in the main window, 'Save' the changes (to VTS_01_0.IFO) and 'Quit'.
