Just browse the forums for 5 minutes.
Every one recommends Imgburn.
However, there's an assumption that you're talking about burning the
divx/xvid files "as-is" without conversion, since some standalone
DVD players will play this format.
If not, then you'll have to convert the files to standard DVD,
and use something like DVD FLick.

After being set on the correct path, I now use Imgburn almost exclusively !
