Hey, I was just reading threat the tutorial here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/359114
It seems to be quite an effective way of burning ISOs, I am yet to flash my drive as it's a Liteon so I need to go into Maplin and get some components before I can get the key to install the firmware.
My question is about the ss.bin files, where exactly can I find them? And has the process of burning these ISOs changed much in two years? I recently downloaded BF: Bad Company which includes an .ISO file and a .DVD file but I am unable to find the infomation about xtreme patches in the .NFO file: .. iNFOS :

Rel.Date...: 24/06/08
Platform...: X360
Region Free: NO
Genre......: Action
Source.....: PAL
Languages..: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian
Format.....: .dvd
Size.......: 1 DVD

download a program called abgx360.

it will automatically scan the .iso for the SS files.

you can change the options in the program as well to automatically fix the SS files if there is a problem with them


and to burn the files just select the .dvd file with img burn and burn @ 2.4x

Ah awesome, just ran it over my BF: Bad Company iso with no problems, is it still possible to get achievements and use live while using these games btw? It was mentioned in the thread I posted above but after 2 years I would guess devs would have added certain pointers to their games to avoid this?

you can still get the achievements and play on live. but with any flashed console you run the risk of getting banned
