I cant get my burnt dvd's to play on my Sony standalone without skipping and freezing. I've learnt alot here and heres my scenerio:

2 machines - vista and xp with latest dvd firmware
Sony disks, Verbatim digital movie disks burning at 4x no more than 4300mb used
DVD Flick, Nero 7, Convertx, Imgburn - cant find right combination, is it hardware of software issue?
Plays fine on computer but not on sony dvd player.

Ive spent too many hours without prevail. What is your setup and practice on burning dvd's that play flawlessly

I NEED SOME HELP!!

The common factor is the Sony.
If it's a new machine, I would return it else if your using +R/RW disks, try booktyping them (if the burner allows it).
