Alright so I got myself a PS2, it's my first time with one and I thought it was going to be straight up simple to get it working with Swap Magic. However my first issue I was able to fix was that I got the Flip Top and it isn't for this model and I was able to cancel the order before it got shipped.

Next I was able to set up Magic Key V4 successfully, had a few problems but with the help of Google I was able to figure out that I only needed Sensor A blocked. I tried Swap Magic DVD and it worked however I couldn't do anything cause my .hack was in the middle of being burned so I tried running a few Homebrew Applications while I waited and switch to the CD Version.

Now whenever I try the DVD Version it gets past the PS2 Logo and gets stuck on the Black Screen with the DVD switching between fast and slowing down and doesn't move past this part. I checked the bottom and there where already a few scratches there. I am trying to boot up DVD Backups and I have been unable to do such.

I have tried the built in function of switching to a Higher TOC (Devil May Cry) but it get's stuck saying please insert. I had to remove the sensor blocker and put it back into place and doesn't go from there.

I have tried CogSwapper but after switching to the Backup DVD it goes to a black screen and the DVD actually stops spinning.

I am not lost! I am going to go get a DVD Cleaning Device tomorrow and hope that it works, but I don't have much money left over to get another PS2 of an older model to use other methods. I already voided the warranty after taking a peek inside just so you guys know.
I'm starting to think it would of been cheaper to get a Mod Chip and install it myself and would of had no problems what so ever. Which Mod Chip is the cheapest but also about 99-100% reliable for the next 1000 years. How hard is it to install the Mod Chip?

Also does anyone know how to boot up DVD Backups from the SM CD Version?

Alright I just got a CD/DVD Scratch Repairing Device, and on the side note...don't use it! It messed up both SwapMagic Discs to the point where they will never work again. After doing the DVD it got rid of all the scratched and I ran it on my CD just to make sure it was in tip top shape. However...from the sounds of it when I run my finger across the bottom side gently it got air bubbles underneath the "Plastic"...how in the hell does something that uses a rubber wheel gently on a CD/DVD even powerful enough to do that?!

Anyways I am not going to bother returning them, sure it was my fault but I am not going to bother sending it back because the status they are in can be clearly told something happened to it. On the side note, I'm going to switch to getting a Mod Chip implanted into my PS2...
