Hello

Thank you for this great xbox forum

iam a Playstation player and i want to change to xbox

i want to buy new xbox from Amazon.com

questions:

1- is the xbox 360 which i will buy it from amazon can play a downloaded backup game without changed the dvd drive?

2-if i found the drive liteon and update it to ixtreme 1.5, can it play backup game from it's harddisk?

3- can i buy 60Gb xbox 360 and if i want more size to copy game to hard, can i use a USB external harddisk?

1 most likely will be liteon to flash with 1.5

2 no games cannot be played from the hard drive without the disk in the tray.

3 no you cannot use external drives for save date or games, however most external drives do work for video, pictures, and music, i use my xbox as a media center with a terrabyte hard drive external attached to it.

no way to actually tell, but i believe a new console won't be released that early.
