hi all first ov all hello to all as im a new member hope to be a part ov the comunity for the long haul

not sure if im asking this question right but here goes
i have a jap wii which i have fitted a d2sun chip+clip to
what i would like to do is see the menue in english
have installed the homebrew etc on my bros wii all fine
but if i do it will it need to be a jap tp hack
and do i need to change everything with anyregion changer or just the language any help would be appreciated
ps if ive not asked in the right way or correct format my appolegies

Someone previously on here used a PAL copy of TP and the PAL TP Exploit on a JAP Wii perfectly fine. So you should be able to use a different region hack as long as the game disc is the same region as the hack.

Your best bet when running the any-region changer is to change region settings for all settings software + hardware. Your only asking for trouble if you don't.

Example: You change the menu region to PAL for English Language but leave the drive setting as JAP.

The region setting for disc would still be JAP. I am almost certain that the JAP games will still be in JAP language even if you change the Menu region setting to English.

So for better game compatibility I would change all settings to PAL (including drive settings) so PAL games would no longer be Imports and you would have 100% PAL game compatibility.
