I downloaded a converter, which converted avi to vob, and will burn to dvd but it wont play on my jvc dvd. please help

Hi,

the easiest way (and free too) to convert avi to dvd is to use dvd flick. Then use dvd shrink to create your iso (so Imgburn can burn it for you)

All the programs mentioned are free.

You need to make sure of the conversion you're using. If you live in the states then you want NTSC 29.something fps. ;)

DVD Flick
Super
convertXtoDVD (formally dvixtoDVD)

The above mentioned progies work pretty well. ConvertX is NOT free but a very good progie none the less. Super is ok but NOT user friendly IMO, good tho. ;) DVD Flick is very easy to use and will spit out an ISO image but you have to set it that way before you convert. ;)

divxto dvd will convert to DVD in one step
