ok, i just got a wiikey 2 with the wiiclip, and i clipped it on, and tested it with the wiikey config disk, then when i tried to run super mario galaxy, the splash screen shows up and everything, then when i start, it gives me the error "game disk could not be read, please check manual...." and then i tried it with super smash bros brawl, same thing, so i re-burned both, same thing. do these games get that error often? could it be my dvd drive? its a tsstcorp ts-h653l. i burned them with imgburn at 6x speed. i did super mario galaxy on fujifilm dvd-r and ssbb on a verbatim dvd+r dl.
so to fix this problem, do i just try with different games? different dvds? different computers? or is it that the wiikey+clip isnt on all the way?
for ssbb and smg i didnt set it to verify, but i did for no more heroes, which is just a black screen, and hers the log:

If the disks show up in the disk channel then the wiikey is working. Your problem sounds more like a bad burn. Sometimes if the DVD drive you're using is older it will give more bad burns. I was having trouble with that for awhile.

2.1? Oh wow. Ok ya that just might be the problem. Games are designed to run on a specific minimum firmware. If you have a lower firmware they run poorly or not at all.
They also include the update on the disk. You failed to mention that you were either brickblocking the disks or blocking the updates through your modchip.
