My Razr V3 automatically trying to get online??? HELP PLEASE!

Hi Everyone,
I have had a Razr V3 for a while and the phone's body is sratching here and there but it works great. I bought a new body kit (face plate...)and try to give it a make over. Now, I run into a problem and can not figure out what it is. Whenever I turn on the phone and try to dial a number or press any button, it opens the browser and tries to connect to the internet. Any help is greatly appreciated.
