Hi,
I still can`t get the audio file into spruceup. It took me 19.24hrs to encode Saving Private Ryan it must be my pentium 3 1GH.

1.Ripped the movie rename the m2v & ac3 files to Ryan.m2v & Ryan.ac3.

2.Encode the ryan.m2v took 19.24hrs, size 3.60GB rename it private.m2v then change Ryan.ac3 to private.ac3.

3.Open spruceup follow the steps, the private.m2v file went in nps. But the ac3 didn't follow where did i go worry?

I don`t know if u can HELP me r not. But any help would be much appreciated

.hear from u soon jackdaw...

Thats strange spruceup worked for me when I renamed the files the same , I just called them both A and they have to be in the same folder too . you havent got something funny like 2 sets of the bit after the . like RYAN.M2V.M2V where windows is hiding 1 set because its associated with something . You could always try to get DVD Maestro that lets you import video and sound seperately , theres a guide for ot on Doom9

Unregistered demo of SpruceUp only supports .mp2 as an audio, AFAIK.

Umh. Chapter from Finnish criminal law that is due to come into effect in beginning of 2003 and will cover our site (quickly translated):
Quote:
Network communities who allow their non-owner members to contribute material, must have an editor-in-chief, normally webmaster, who is fully in charge of all material posted on the site by users or staff of the site. This includes criminal responsibility.
And if you would really bother to read the rules you would understand something. I, or any of the other staff members, don't have any interest to get jailed because we allow some 15-year-old kids to boast how cool it is to have this-31337-new-wareZz-tool and how they are willing to share it to everybody.

I can swear on this site, I can close this site, I can take a dump over this site -- I own majority of this site and as I'm already legally responsible of all material posted on this site, I can take responsibility of my own acts.

Oh, I'm 26, have family including a 3-year-old daughter.

Summa summarum:

We allow people to exchange opinions, ask questions and hang around, as long as they follow the rules we've set. If you invite someone to your home, I assume you expect them to respect your rules under your roof. If so, you should respect our rules -- they're not there just for fun. And the clearest, most repeated rule in here is: NO PIRACY. Period.

Hi Jackdaw35
If you are running a demo version of spruceup , like dRD says it can only handle MP2 audio not AC3 like you have but there are utils available that can convert AC3 to MP2 . Just do a search on google , it turns up loads , there are probably some in the downloads section of this website :)

Yeah, Maestro doesn't "exist" anymore. Some retailers still sell it tho, use google.

You know you can use Ifoedit to remux the movie.m2v back into a set of vob files and create a new smaller set , it uses the sound thats already in the vobs so you can forget about the ac3 file only thing is you need to have encoded it using rempeg and you need a working ripped/stripped version of the movie on your HD as made by Ifoedit when you choose strip streams and tell it to make new IFOS/VIDEO ETC
