I just started using DVDfab and i'm a bit of an amateur and was looking for help. when i enter in a dvd and start using dvdfab I click on full disc, when it creates the Video_TS folder there are lots of files that get created. I shrinked these using DVD shrink but when I tried burning a DVD it seems there are five large files that would appear to be the movie. When I use Windows movie maker, 3 of the files seemed to be about 25 minutes long but the other 2 were like 26 hours long. It appears that the whole movie isn't in these 23 minute files, what am I doing wrong. Thanks for any advice
You need to burn the video_ts folder - this folder contains all the files needed - like the vob, ifo and bup files. The main movie can be broken up into chunks - it's the ifo file that gives the instructions on the structure of the dvd - what files to play when etc.
For the files that you already have on your hard drive use ImgBurn to burn the video_ts - you add the folder itself. Open ImgBurn and pick 'write files/folders to disk'. Then click on the folder icon find the video_ts folder you want to burn and add it.
Click on the device tab & set you write speed to no higher than 8x.
Under destination pick your dvd burner then click on the folder and disc icon at the bottom to burn.
If you have Nero you can use the Express option >Video DVD - find and add the movie folder click next set the burn speed then burn.
There are also files placed withing movies that take up lots of space but have absolutely nothing on them. I use to use a free program called VobBlaner to remove these files along with FBI Warnings, etc. These particular files may be what you are referring to. I use DVDReMake Pro to remove these files now but you may download VobBlanker for free from this site. VobBlanker Link

The Demo version of DVDReMake does not allow you to finish a movie, but it does allow you complete control of the program to see how it works. It just will not do a complete backup.
I used the Demo for an hour and decided that I wanted it. The only thing that I hate is that Dimad has not updated to BD yet, and from the looks of it, he may not update. He also doesn't want to sell the rights to Dimadsoft to let another developer take over.
Maybe in time, as BD becomes more prominent he will make the changes. As of right now BD is still not the main seller of DVD's, however the sales are climbing all the time.
