ok i downloaded IrShell 4.7 and went to put it on my psp. i copied all the folders where they were suppose to go and on the IrShell.org website it said "Make sure to apply the irspatch under ms0:/IRSHELL/PATCH directory for your cooresponding firmware version."

how do i apply the irspatch?

launch irshell from your psp then go to "directory view" within irshell. From there scroll down to irshell/ select it, go to patch/ select it, then select your specific firmware from the available list of options and after that just run btcnfpatch.prx and your done!

thanks zeroshame. it worked. It was my first time using irshell and on the site it just said install the patch and didnt say how to do it, i was confused.
