some JPGs don't view - is this common?

OK, when I try to display some JPG pics, it just says corrupted or something like that. Meanwhile, others (taken by same camera) work no problem. Is there an update I need? (I know the pics are fine as they display fine on my PC).

Is this a common problem?

I've also found that the odd divx video doensn't play either. Wouldn't be an issue if it was 1 in 1000 but I've only tried about 10 and 2 or 3 haven't worked.

It's happened to me a few times as well with both the jpg's and divx as well. There is a certain version of divx that won't play on the ps3 but I can't explain the jpgs.
