I have a slim OFW 4.01

i made a MMS and a Pandora Battery using..

and the battery boots up the Slim as said...but no menu pops up..ive read it could be my MMS...so..i re did it three times now..and nothing..and all the steps on the GUI were completed (pressing yes both times)..and it still wont boot up..

do i need a certain MMS made for the 4.01 OFW?...

hey m8 , did you ever get it to work ive got the same psp and version as you and if its gonna screw up my psp id rather nt do it ,

If your psp came with 4.01 firmware out of the box it can not be modded at this time. See this thread - there's also a utlitiy you can run to see if that's the case:

binkie is right. if your psp is brand new and came out of the box with ofw 4.01 your psp cannot be modded (yet)

but hang in there its coming soon.

have you seen the video where the new motherboards have been hacked?
i cant watch it due to my slow internet(dial-up) but i want someones opinion on it.(someone= a person who knows what they are talking about)

i was just on another site trying to figure out how to install irshell when i saw a link saying that the video was confirmed a fake.
o well i guess we will just have to wait alittle longer to run cfw on psp-3000

Figures someone just spreading internet rumors!

A friend of mine picked up a another psp - I'll need to check if it's one the of unmoddable ones - I hope it is - then that way I'll have one to test when a mod is available :)

Yea i just read up about it after i posted this...that sucks i bought this slim just full the sole use of playing all my games on my tv and such lol..crap..

well..im wondering if i should sell it..or just wait....

Hmmm well that's a good question. Is there a possibility you could try and return to maybe get a psp that they've had in stock for awhile?

Well its only a matter of time. If they want it bad enough hackers make it. Lol.

I wouldnt buy a ps3 though. The only way ill get one is if i win the sweepstakes i entered when i bought my psp at gamestop
