Hello again everyone. Quick question. I have the 40gb PS3 and I wanted to upgrade the hard drive on it. What is the best device to use to back up the 40gb hard drive to put it into the new hard drive. Would I need to by an external hard drive if that is the case then why buy the internal hard drive? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I check the guide on installing the new hard drive and it seems easy enough. The main problem is backing up the old one. If I don't have anything important do I need to back it up? Can I redownload my purcahases from the playstation store? Thanks.

Yes you can just redownload your purchases, and all you need is like a 1 or 2 gig usb stick or memory card to back things up.
