4.6gb file on dvd+R?

So I have a high def video file that I am trying to put on a data dvd. it is exactly 4.60gb. I have tried to use infrarecorder and nero 9 to burn it but each program ends up giving me error message saying something about the file beeing to big. I am sitting here looking at the disk which says "4.7gb" on it, meaning i should have an extra .1gb free, but it still isn't letting me burn it. any suggestions? (i am trying to get it to play on my ps3 and have a hd display, so i dont want to alter the quality at all.)

The 4.7gb stated on the disk is misleading and is due to a "flawed" conversion on the part of the industry. The actual capacity is approx. 4400mb.
