The Box pvr - firmware update recording problem

Can anyone help me. I updated The Box firmware which gave improved quality of picture and better user interface but i can no longer set a problem to record daily... It will record specific programs on a once off basis but when i change to daily, weekly or monthly it doesnt record at all.

I did that this morning.... version is thebox_h20081222_457eE_api.bin
I'm now running ver 3.105, 8 Dec 2008

Is there a newer version.

That firmware is not for the PVR, is it a PVR or not? The Thread heading says ''The Box PVR'' but your first post says ''The Box firmware''.

its a PVR i have. I went into thread for new years eve fixes and went half way down page to find:

THE BOX PVR updated XMAS EVE

That is what i downloaded.

It is the twin tuner and i've updated to this firmware. It is now recording on a once and weekly basis but not on a daily basis.

Sorry, I can't advise further as I don't have my SV PVR anymore so not familiar with this release of F/W but I havn't heard of others with your problem.
Does instant recording work from the remote? also have you set the correct time for EPG timed recordings?
