My PS3 keeps saying its under NAT3, is this a usual problem if you're using a wired connection. I stopped using the wireless to try to solve it but even being wired it still states it's in NAT3.

What type of internet and router do you have? Please provide as much information about your network as you can and we will be more than glad to help you.

I have Cable internet high speed, my router is a Linksys RangePlus Wireless Router WRT110, but my PS3 is wired to it.

Nat type 3 means that your connection isn't set up correctly for data transfer between the ps3.

couple of solutions.

1) Make sure Upnp is enabled on your router and open ports:
TCP 80
TCP 443
TCP 5223
UDP 3478
UDP 3479
UDP 3658
UDP 3074
TCP 3074
UDP 3659
UDP 3660

2) Put your ps3 into a DMZ, explained here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610541
