Hi there,

I have recently recorded a short film on a canon HDV camera. I requested for the rental company to put the tape on CD for me and I now have 7 CDs containing .MOV files.

I have dowloaded Quicktime Alternative and can play the .MOV files in Windows Media Player but I only get sound. I also tried downloading Quicktime player before that and again got only sound.

I want to edit the video in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 but when i try to import the file I just get an error message saying that it does not have the right codec.

Any help would be much appreciated! Go easy on the jargon though, I have a bit of technical knowledge but I'm not to familiar with Video terms.
