D-link wireless router setup

Hi,
I have recently encountered some problems setting up my wirless router which is Trendnet TEW-632BRP working with a D-link DIR-615 firmware (C1). The trouble was that the router did not work when establishing a wireless connection; it kept disconnecting and restarting and blocking the router. I have read some of the forums on the internet and i have found out that eventually there was nothing wrong with my router. Here's what I have done, but I don't quite know which solved my problem:

1) plugged the router power cable in a protected power source (from fluctuations)
2) put the router vertically with the antenas in L form
3) set the wireless connection visible WPA2 only protected with passphrase, RTS Threshold 2304, Channel 11, Low transmit power.
4) rolled back to the intel original driver of my wireless card on the laptop.

I also have found out that it could be some interference from odher wireless devices. As a matter of fact, the router went very good when there were only 1-2 networks available.

I tested the connection (wireless) with more p2p programs running and downloading and copying from the network some files.

Hope this helps. Maybe I can get some feedback.
