As been mentioned many times before there is an option with the new Xbox 360 Dashboard update (NXE) where you can install game data into the HDD. You will still need the game disc inside to play though.

Before you say "Well what's the point then?" There are many beneficial reasons to install to a HDD such as faster loading times, less texture pop-ups, less noisier 360, less DVD Drive laser usage, and many more.
