Since the release of 1.5 and Jungle flasher my successfull attempts at flashing have dropped tremendously. Prior to this I have successfully flashed all types of drives. My problem now is jungle flasher just periodically does not detect any drives of any type(sammy, hit, benq, or liteon). When it works, it works good, I got three liteons done this past week but failed on all other flashes. I have followed all tuts, listened to Guesswho in the 1.5 thread, properly installed all drivers, etc. and it is still hit or miss for me. I even reinstalled windows and started fresh. I am running an older amd board with a decent amd brisbane processor, I think it is an 8237 onboard via chipset, I also have got a 6421 via pci card and tried all that. To get to the point could some of you who have close to %100 success with multiple brand drives who are using Jungle Flasher please post your pc's specs here so I can clone your pc and try for myself? (I am going to try with some different hardware setups tonight, i.e. XFX AMD Mobo with Geforce chipset and also gonna try a Intel Wolfdale with EVGA mobo and nForce630 chipset.) Note: someone on efnet said to ditch via and go for nForce, any comments on that?

where is it failing, or what's happening that it is screwing up on the other drives? Really, on the other drives, I wouldn't personally follow any new tutorial. When I flashed a sammy, I did it the old method, with iprep v006, but I just made sure to update the definitions file.

With that, it created a bootable usb disk and did it that way.

need jtag help? Xbox 360 console repair? PM me or chat

gwho... jf would randomly lock up, computer would lock only sometimes when sending identify, 95% of the time no drive was ever detcted and I am sure I had the proper port address......

anyway.... UPDATE: I just finished a new pc build with nForce 730a chipset, has onboard sata and ALL IS WELL... All model drives detected, read, and flashed. Wooohoooo !! Maybe was a problem with my old mobo and via onboard or via pci card, who knows. I am happy the nForce chipset does the trick!!! I am still curious though what was happening with my old hardware as it worked fair before jf and 1.5. I can furnish exact specs if someone wants to look into it, or I could even rebuild that pc in another case, set it up exactly the way it was when it was failing and let some of you veterans remote into it and see what gives....let me know.

I've now flashed a total of 3 X360s.

(1) Samsung MS28 and (2) BenQ

Used the method I posted in this thread. Not 1 single issue or lockup.
