oh i did the same thing and i felt tottaly stupid..... i left the e-boot and the document in the FFVII folder and put it in the iso folder but you are supposed to put it in PSP\GAME folder and it should work.... and you might need the 1.50 kernel addon.....
and you should have the popsloader plugins
any questions e-mail me at

Maybe a bad disc rip. What program did you use to get the image file?

I own the Australian versions or PAL PSone games. They come with many errors. eg. FF7 freezes in cutscenes. So in order to fix this and so I can load the next disc. Get the plugin CWcheat.

Manage memory cards > save memory card slot one. Load up ePSXe with the FF7 image a PC PSone emulator and select the memory card file on your PC eg SCES-0987-0.mc. Play the the section that has errors on your pc save it then load it on the psp using CWcheat. Annoying but thats one of the effective methods. Also useful to change disks. But can't you save before the disc change? Then load up disc 2 and load the data.

it might be because you didnt have the full disc... or you downloaded it from a bad site that didnt give you all the discs.....
