my scenario is that i've got multiple wmv's and i want to burn them to a dvd. i read that dvd flick stops at 65 wmv's per dvd but i only need 5-10 150meg wmv's per dvd.

i've done a little research about this and came across dvd flick. i've got a couple questions about the program.

1)does the quality get degraded at all in the conversion?
2)can you set breaks so each new wmv is a new chapter on the dvd?
3)is there a better program?

thanks!

The limit has more to do with the combined running time of the videos - not their size.
Two hours of video will fit easily on a standard blank DVD.
The more running time to be squeezed onto the disk, the lower the quality.
Add/drag each file onto the window.
Each file will be a separate title.
Click on the 'Menu Settings' button on the top bar and enable the menu.
Each title will be assigned a selection on the menu.
Pressing the skip button during playback will go to the next title.

awesome info. thanks alot.

your answer raises another q i had no idea about. so the amount of video on dvd is more dependent on the running time of the file than the actual size of the file?

so even if the dvd is 4.6 gigs... i really shouldn't put over 2 hours of content on there?

The size of the file is not relevant:only the running time. Uncompressed video is huge giga bytes - yet as long as it doesn't go too far over the running time limits set by the authoring program, it doesn't care.
You can probably put three hours on without serious problems - it depends on the quality of the source.
