Hi all i have 2 starview 3 boxes that im updating the new one updated no prob but the older one i have which has firmware on it just craps out under 20% at every update. It just says on then.
Ive tried this about 8 times or so by leaving if off downloading and turning it on,(other say rarely detects it.) Is it somethning to do with having older firmware on it? Im putting 8.04 in it now. This one just wont update no matter what i do.

Try a S/W transfer... turn on the TV
menu-user set up -s/w transfer, connect both boxes with a null modem cable turn the working box away from the remote and press S/W transfe, allowing it to reach 100%
