V12 cant boot games from HDD using USB DVANCE

Hi guys & gals

I am trying to get a v12 slim with a dead drive motor to boot games using usb advance elf but all I get is the splash screen for a few seconds then the screen turns red and kind of washed out

So far I have installed free mcboot 1.8 to the mc including the usb advance elf but no go
tried to boot usb advance elf from both my pen drive and my hdd using ulaunch elf but the same problem
I know that the ps2 is reading the HDD because sms can play videos and and music from it and ulaunch can read it
drive has been formated to ntfs by windows and then to fat32 by ul_format.exe game has been loaded with ul_instal.exe TWICE !

Drive is a seagate ST320410A using usb adapter

Any Ideas Im stumped

EDIT mystery solved close the BL**DY DVD lid stupid it only took me 2 days !
